Poetry – Faux Leather & Pleated Chiffon Couture Dress

Poetry is a handcrafted couture dress that combines the architectural structure of traditional corsetry with the softness and movement of pleated chiffon, creating a silhouette that balances strength, elegance and femininity.

The bodice is constructed like a genuine corset, featuring an internal cotton coutil structure reinforced with spiral steel boning that naturally shapes and supports the waist. Hand-applied cone studs, a soft satin lining and meticulous couture construction ensure both comfort and impeccable fit.

The skirt is composed of multiple layers of individually finished pleated chiffon ruffles with rolled hems. A structured crinoline underskirt adds volume and creates the dress's distinctive bell silhouette while maintaining graceful movement.

Every Poetry dress is individually handcrafted in my Italian atelier following Slow Fashion principles and is also available as a bespoke made-to-measure creation.
